He has advised several multinational and blue-chip companies in various sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications and Manufacturing in relation to the protection and enforcement of their IPRs in Africa. His commitment to exceeding clients’ expectations, and the assurance of success in any transaction with which he is identified places him above the ordinary lawyer.

Currently the Chairman of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Nigeria (IPLAN), Femi is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA); Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA); Nigerian Maritime Law Association, World Trade Course of Nigeria and the International Trademark Association (INTA).He sits as a director on the boards of several companies including Blackberry Technologies Nigeria Limited (the Nigerian subsidiary of BlackBerry Limited) and Courage Education Foundation (an NGO committed to sponsoring the education of brilliant but indigent children).

Femi is ranked as a leading Nigerian lawyer by renowned international law directories such as Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000 and Who’s Who Legal. He is frequently called upon to advise and assist the government in Nigeria, on IP policies and reforms and regularly delivers papers and presentations in addition to numerous publications to his credit.

He has written many articles and frequently delivers papers and gives presentations on subjects in his core practice areas.His hobbies are reading, driving, travel, snooker and golf. He is blessed with a daughter and two sons.
