We started with 12 recipients in 2006, and this has risen to 126 in 2015. Nomination of candidates for the CEF sponsorship is open to everyone, irrespective of sex, faith, or ethnicity. The states of origin of our current beneficiaries are: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Imo, Jigawa, Kwara, Kaduna, Kogi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo but resident in Lagos. We presently have 13 of them in various Tertiary Institutions and 26 more awaiting assistance from us to resume higher institution for the 2016/2017 academic session. A Fundraising Dinner was held on 25 November 2006. This was well attended by well meaning personalities and representatives of the government. A documentary on the aims, objectives and activities of CEF was successfully filmed and shown in 2006. Successfully hosted two (2) CEF Awareness Days – in 2004 and 2006 respectively. Two lectures were held in July 2008 and 2009 respectively; A Charity Walk was organised in November 2008. An evening with Courage March 2014. All our events have been well attended by notable personalities, including the immediate past Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs S Sosan and; the First Lady of Lagos State, Mrs Abimbola Fashola.
