Courage Education Foundation (CEF) is a Nigerian nonprofit organization committed to
expanding access to quality education for talented children from economically disadvantaged families. The foundation was established in 2006 by Pastor Ituah Ighodalo
and Mr. Seyi Akinwunmi with a simple but powerful belief: that no child should be denied the opportunity to learn and succeed simply because their family cannot afford the cost of education.
Our Model
Courage Education Foundation operates a structured model designed to identify talented students, remove financial barriers to education, support their development, and create a network of alumni who continue the cycle of opportunity.

Why Courage Education Foundation Exists
Across Nigeria, thousands of bright children risk leaving school every year because their families cannot afford tuition, books, uniforms, transportation, and other essential learning materials. This gap between potential and opportunity can prevent talented young people from achieving their goals.
Courage Education Foundation exists to close this opportunity gap. Through sustained educational support and mentorship, the foundation ensures that talented students from disadvantaged families can remain in school, complete their education, and pursue

OUR NEEDS

CEF focuses on three key areas of support that help students succeed academically and personally.
Scholarships
The foundation provides financial assistance that enables students to remain in school. This support may cover tuition, books, uniforms, and other learning materials.
Mentorship
Students receive mentorship from experienced professionals and volunteers who guide their academic development, personal growth, and career aspirations.
Leadership Development
Through workshops, mentoring sessions, and exposure opportunities, beneficiaries develop leadership skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility toward their communities.
